"I started designing at a very young age. I never knew that my passion for drawing and attention to the advertising world all around me could possibly be a career choice. I used to collect magazine clippings, comics from the news paper and stickers and would put them together in small Ads for fun. I would draw posters for church and posters for my room. Around age 11, I learned how to play the guitar and at age 14 I started my first band. It was at that point that my artistic ability came to life with a force so strong. I was able to create logos, flyers, T-shirts and my designs would finally have an audience. After that, I was hooked. From that point on, I was asked to create logos, flyers, t-shirts, etc. by various people. In high school, I joined the Graphic Design class and SkillsUSA club. It was a time where my knowledge and passion for graphic design grew strong. My graphic design instructor Mrs. Wright taught me so much. She was the first professional to believe in me, to critique my work, and to bring me to a level of humility for the talent I was blessed with. In 2004 I designed and had printed my very first t-shirt which has since launched into a clothing line called Downcore Clothing.
In 2007 I was given a professional camera and told to take shots of people for a memory that would last a lifetime. While photography isn't what I thought I'd ever do, it has become something that I've become equally passionate about. Using my knowledge of design, I'm able to create memories for my clients that will last a lifetime."
